Rootless but Resilient: Navigating Identity When You've Moved a Lot

Live Webinar Description:
Frequent moves can make it hard to answer the question, “Where are you from?”—but they can also build incredible strength, adaptability, and empathy. In this engaging and heartfelt session, speaker Alex Bryant and members of the Alumni Crew Executive Committee will explore what it means to grow up without a single “home base,” and how to turn that experience into a powerful source of resilience and self-awareness.
Attendees will:
- Reflect on how constant change influences identity, friendships, and a sense of belonging.
- Learn practical ways to embrace flexibility and find stability within themselves.
- Hear personal stories from fellow military-connected alumni who’ve transformed challenges into confidence and purpose.
- Gain tools to celebrate their unique backgrounds and build meaningful connections wherever life takes them
Whether you’ve moved a few times or dozens, this session will help you see your story as a strength—and remind you that “home” can be something you carry with you.
